Bujinkan was founded my Masaaki Hatsumi Sensei throughout his martial arts career between 1977 and 2019. It features a very broad curriculum composed from 9 traditional Japanese Ryuha (martial arts schools), some of which date back as far as 1162. The spectrum of training includes Ninpo, Bo Jutsu, Hanbo Jutsu, So Jutsu, Shuriken Jutsu, and Tai Jutsu. GWS Bujinkan examinations only measure a students understanding of Tai Jutsu.
